We Need a Bigger Awards Cabinet

Posted by: | Comments (0)

mRELEVANCE OBIE AwardsIt’s awards season and the past few months have been very exciting for mRELEVANCE, as the results of our team’s hard work over the past year has been recognized by several prestigious organizations. All of this bling reminds me of just how awesome of a team we really have here at mRELEVANCE, not to mention it looks pretty good in the awards  cabinet!

In September, we received a STARS Award for Best Advertisement – Associate for an ad we designed as part of the His, Hers & Ours campaign for Carolina-based home builder Essex Homes. The winning ad featured vibrant, eye-catching art to advertise the builder’s $5,000 design incentive, resulting in a remarkable 76 new home sales in just two months. STARS Awards honor the achievements of builders, associates, Realtors, media, advertising professionals and many others who make major contributions to the residential homebuilding industry. The awards are presented by the North Carolina Home Builders Association during the 21st Century Building Expo and Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Earlier this month, we were honored with two awards at the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Georgia Chapter’s Phoenix Awards Celebration. The Phoenix Awards recognizes projects and programs that demonstrate excellence in the public relations profession in Georgia. We received an award for the social media campaign for the “Twice as Nice” tax promotion, Read More→

What happens in Vegas Goes on Social Media

It’s Fall! This time of year always means leaves changing, blankets for the horses, less dog hair in the house, lots of football and of course preparation for the International Builders’ Show (IBS). IBS may happen until January 19-21 of 2016; but presenters start getting education sessions ready long before then. October and November is when I really start building out the bulk of my presentations, which includes lots of brainstorming, research, information-gathering and actually putting ideas down on paper (okay, not paper, exactly, but you get the idea). We get started now before the holidays hit and our schedules get even more hectic than usual. After all, I have online shopping to do and vacations to plan!

I will be presenting two education sessions at IBS 2016.  On Thursday, January 21, at 11 a.m., I will present “Mobile Marketing – Engage Your Customers via Your Website,” in Remodeling Central, with Marketing RELEVANCE managing partner Mitch Levinson. In this session, we’ll discuss recent changes in mobile Read More→

IBSVegas mRELEVANCE boothIt just seems fitting that as mRELEVANCE celebrates its Lucky 7 anniversary that we will exhibit at the International Builders’ Show (IBS)  in Vegas for the first time. Our Lucky 7 themed booth is the perfect way for us to reach existing and prospective clients. IBS, held January 19-21, 2016, is the largest annual light construction show in the world, attracting 50,000 visitors from more than 100 countries each year.  I will be spending much of my time at the show in our booth. I’m really excited about it and hope you will come by #C2665 in nextBUILD to meet the mRELEVANCE team.

We are very excited to exhibit this year, and have been hard at work developing our booth, display, product offerings and of course, swag and giveaways, to offer guests to our booth. Our booth focuses on Return on Investment (ROI) and how mRELEVANCE is a “Safe Bet for Your Marketing Dollars.” We will showcase all of our services – social media, public relations, website design, marketing strategy, creative design and more. Visitors to the booth will be able to learn more about our processes/approach to projects and clients.

I will be presenting two sessions this year. And of course, there will be many education sessions and networking opportunities that I won’t be missing out on, so I will have lots of backup at the show. mRELEVANCE will be represented by SEVEN team members this year, myself; Mitch Levinson, managing partner; Lauren Cooper, Account Coordinator; Megan Morgan; Graphic Designer; Bryan Nonni, Social Media Manager; Courtney Rogers; Account Manager and Doug Silk, SEO Coordinator. IBS will be a unique, valuable opportunity for our clients from across the Read More→

Carol Morgan video premierCheck Out mRELEVANCE’s “Dear Future Client” Video Parody!

We all sing along with the radio, sometimes changing up the lyrics a little. I almost always change the words every  to make them more applicable to my life, or let’s face it, I can’t always remember the right ones!

For example, instead of Pat Benatar’s famous “Love is a Battlefield” lyric, you sing “Love is a pretty bay mare,” as you’re riding your horse around the arena, or you sing, “biscuits, biscuits” to the tune of Faith Hill’s “This Kiss” when making breakfast. It happened to me; I was driving down the road, singing along with Meghan Trainor’s “Dear Future Husband,” thinking about Marketing RELEVANCE, and prospective clients, of course, and started singing, “Dear Future Client.” And it hit me that making a parody of the song would be a great team building activity for our upcoming corporate retreat and would be a great way to show current and prospective clients the fun, creative side of mRELEVANCE.

As a business owner, growing the business is something that’s constantly on my mind, so it’s no surprise that “Dear Future Client” popped into my head.

Of course, I immediately called Mitch Levinson to share my idea and he jumped in and started writing new lyrics to describe how mRELEVANCE Read More→
